Baroda/Vadodara: Guj Billava Sangha commemorates Narayana Guru Jayanti

Vadodara, 13 Sep 2022: Gujarat Billava Sangha celebrated 168th Narayana Guru Jyanti at the Cultural Centre, Alkapura, here on Sunday September 11.

 

Billava brethren from different parts of Gujarat, such as Ahmedabad, Ankaleshwar, Bharuch, Vapi, Valsad, Surat including Baroda and Gujratis’ partaken in the celebration to commemorate Narayana Guru Jayanti.

 

Gujarat Billava Sangha has been led by veteran entrepreneur Dayanand Bontra since the past many years.

 

 

The stage programme held on Sunday afternoon was presided by Sangha president Vishwanat Poojary.

 

Dayanand Bontra, former president Manoj C Poojary Surat, vice president Lokayya Poojary,  V D Amin Ahmedabad, Prabhakar Poojary Surat, Vasu Poojary, Laxman Poojary Baaroda, Sadashiv Poojary, Venkatesh Poojary, Chandrika Ashok Kotian Vapi, women wing president Sarita Somanat Poojary were present at the dais.

 

The Sangha honored 7 rank holders and 3 athletes including distributing scholarships to talented students from the community.

 

Vishwanat Poojary welcomed the gathering. Vasu V Suvarna compered the programme. Sarita S Poojary proposed vote of thanks.

 

The Vedic celebrations commemorate the birth anniversary of Naryana Guru, followed by a fellowship meal shared by all.
