National Youth Day Observed in St. Lawrence PU College, Moodubelle

Udupi/M’Belle, 12 Jan 2022: 159th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda was observed as the National Youth Day in St. Lawrence PU College, Moodubelle on Wednesday, 12 January 2022. Dr. Gulabi Poojary-Kannada lecturer in St. Mary’s College, Shirva was the chief guest of the function.

 

In her key-note address, Dr. Gulabi Poojary said “The life of Swami Vivekananda has been an inspiration to all of us. The youth of today should get inspiration and encouragement from the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda and move forward in building a strong and united India”

 

 

Principal Edward Larsen D’Souza presided over the programme. Mrs. Jacintha Natalia Lobo welcomed the gathering. Mrs. Sunitha Kamath-Headmistress of St. Lawrence Kannada Medium High School proposed the vote of thanks. Physical Director Joseph D’Souza made introductory remarks. John Castelino compeered the programme. St. Lawrence PU College and high school students and staff members were present for the programme.
