Udupi: Covid-19 Vax Drive for 15-18 years children held at St Mary’s College, Shirva

Udupi, 04 Jan 2022: The district health department organized the Covid-19 vaccination for the children between the ages of 15 to 18 years at St Mary’s College, Shirva, near here on Monday, January 3.
‘The vaccine is being distributed in accordance with the Code of Conduct of the College administration,’ said Lt K Praveen Kumar, the Nodal Officer for the vaccination campaign and NCC officer of the College.
Dr Herald Ivan Monis, principal of St Mary’s College, presided the programme. He urged the parents of children to avail the free vaccination facility offered by the district health department.
Resource persons of the program include Shirva Community Health Center resident medical officer Dr Vaishnavi present throughout the drive.
Shirva community health center’s junior health assistant Shashi, Asha social workers Sangeetha, Vijaya and Nirmala assisted in the vaccination process.
