Mangaluru: DK INTUC felicitates new AICC secretaries Ivan D’Souza & P V Mohan

Mangaluru, 04 Jan 2021: Dakshina Kannada district Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) organized felicitation of former MLC Ivan D’Souza and former All India Congress Committee (AICC) member who were elevated as AICC secretaries, at their office, St Aloysius College Road, here on Saturday January 2.

 

Both D’Souza and Mohan were also assigned duties to oversee Lok Sabha elections in Kerala during April - May 2021.

 

Addressing the gathering, Ivan said, ’INTUC laid the foundation for labour movement, while it has better future in Karnataka.’ He assured all the support to INTUC for the welfare of labourers and working class.

 

 

Mohan said, ’The party workers form the backbone of Congress who also get prominence when the situation demands.’ He cited his own example in being elevated to AICC secretary by the high command.

 

DK INTUC youth president Punit Shetty, secretary Dinakar Shetty, INTUC national and Karnataka president Rakesh Malli, DK district INTUC president Manohar Shetty, DK district general secretary Chaitanya Shetty Bondala, Kallige Taranat Shetty, youth Congress state leaders Tejasvi Raj and Lukman Bantwal, Abubaker, Suresh, youth INTUC leaders Harish Rao, Munish, Mohan Karkera, former NSUI president Ashith Pereira, Munna, Badruddin, Munir Bava, Hamid Sullia, Keshav Puttur and others were present.

 

The former Shivabagh corporator Sabita Misquit was also present.
