Mangaluru, Nov 10: The home guards of Ullal unit and traffic wardens of DK district organized Cleanliness drive at Tannirbavi beach, here on Tuesday November 10.


Speaking on the occasion, DK district home guards commandant and district chief warden Dr Murali Mohan Chuntoor said, ‘The plastic recklessly strewn all over the beach is endangering the marine life. The tourists and picnickers ought to be advised to dispose off in the garbage bins placed in convenient spots at the beach,’ said Murali.


The home guards Sunil Kumar, Divakar, Sunil, Nishal, Dushyant Rai, Anjan, Sarswati, Kavita and others were present.


Yoga camp was held for the home guards to benefit them in living healthy lives.
