Mangaluru: Sleuths register FIRs on 54 persons for violating home quarantine in DK

Mangaluru, 27 Jun 2020: The law enforcement agencies registered FIR on 54 people who violated the Covid-19 quarantine norms in Dakshina Kannada district.

 

Among them 10 cases are booked in Puttur taluk and rest are in Mangaluru taluk.

 

Quarantine norms are strictly enforced in DK district on each individual subjected to home quarantine with the co-ordinated efforts of health, revenue and other department officials besides the neighbours of quarantined are also urged to monitor his/her movement. DK district ranks first in Karnataka for keeping keen vigil of quarantined.

 

DK DC Sindhu B Rupesh cautioned the home quarantined that the law enforcement agencies will sternly deal with them.
