Karkala: Head Constable dies due to excessive bleeding after delivery

Karkala, 06 Mar: A head constable of Karkala Town Police Station has died on March 5, Thursday due to excessive bleeding after delivery. The deceased is Shyamala (37).

 

 

Shyamala was admitted to a hospital in Karkala on March 3 and she had delivered on Thursday afternoon.

 

However, later she suffered from excessive bleeding following which she was rushed to the Manipal Hospital where she failed to respond to treatment and breathed her last.

 

Her husband Giridhar Pai is also serving in Karkala police station.
