Mangaluru: District officials mandated to accept applications from people under Sakaala

Mangaluru, 19 Feb: Dakshina Kannada district ranked 27th slot in implementing Sakaala programme, that assures time bound services to people has improved to 12th now. If all the officials of every department coordinate their working; the district would further improve the rating, said ADC M J Roopa.

 

 

Roopa was speaking on review meeting of Sakaala with the officials held at Deputy Commissioner’s auditorium, here on Tuesday, February 18.

 

She also said, ‘The applications received from people seeking services under Sakaala are very few. Meanwhile, a few departments are better performing in this regard; while others are lacking behind,’ said Roopa. She cautioned that the district administration will issue show cause notice to such departments.
