Bantwal: Tahsildar takes lead in cleaning Mini Vidhan Soudha on Gandhi Jayanti

Bantwal, 03 Oct: The Tahsildar who used to be busy in her office on other days was found holding broom weeping the premises of Mini Vidhan Soudha, here on Wednesday, October 2 morning.
Tahsildar and penal officer Rashmi S R was joined by other staff of taluk panchayat office in cleaning the premises on Wednesday early morning, to mark 150 th Gandhi Jayanti.
They swept the premises and mopped the premises of Mini Vidhan Soudha where their offices are located.
The deputy Tahsildar Rajesh Naik, designated deputy Tahsildar Ravishankar C M, Panemangaluru revenue inspector Sitaram, Vittal revenue inspector Divakar, Bantwal revenue inspector Naveen Benjanpadav and department officers/staff partaken in the cleanliness.
The cleanliness was done to create general awareness, said Rashmi.
The staff working in departments such as administration, election, food, l and reforms, gram panchayats and others sections also partaken in this campaign that has inspired government departments elsewhere to embark on such programme.
Despite it was a public holiday, the government officials and staff observed Gandhi Jayanti by cleaning their premises. Their deed was lauded by the people.
