Former Chairman ISRO, Dr Kasturirangan at Nitte Graduation

Mangaluru, 01 Oct: Delivering the keynote address at the 11th Graduation Day of NMAM Institute of Technology, held on college campus in Nitte, Karkala, former chairman of ISRO Dr K Kasturirangan stressed that obstacles in life should be seen as the stepping stones to success.
Dr Kasturirangan also emphasised the importance of knowledge related to arts, crafts, architecture and aesthetics as part of engineering education and urged the graduates to contribute to the creation of wealth.
Nitte Education Trust President and Nitte (Deemed to be) University Chancellor N Vinaya Hegde urged graduates to do justice to their profession. Graduates who passed out during the academic year 2018-19 received their graduation certificates. Gold and silver medals were also presented on the occasion.
Industry Institute Collaboration Director Dr Parameswaran, Student Welfare Dean Dr Subramanya Bhat, Dean Admissions and Alumni Affairs Dr Rajesh Shetty and heads of various departments were present during the event. Dr Niranjan N Chiplunkar, principal, NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte was present.
