Udupi, 22 Aug: The inaugural of new academic activities of Commerce Association of Milagres College, Kallianpur, here at A V Hall, recently.

 

Dr Amithabh Anand, Assistant Professor, SKEMA Business School, France, inaugurated Commerce Association and addressed the gathering. He was rewarded with several awards in and around the country for his research and teaching. Dr Anand is also only one in Europe whose name is in the top 50 most outstanding professors in the world.

 

Dr Anand spoke to the gathering about his inspiring and motivating life experience from a failure in subject to a successful academic today. He also expressed his views about unity in the association.

 

 

The principal Dr Vincent Alva delivered the presidential address.

 

Dean of the commerce department Dr Herald Monis addressed the students.

 

Convenor of the Commerce Association Radhika Patkar was present.

 

Shayona and group rendered the prayers. II B Com student Reeshel welcomed the gathering. III B Com student Rimza Zakir introduced Dr Anand. III B Com student Abdul Shaheem proposed vote of thanks. I B Com student Selma Picardo compered the programme.

 

Mohammed Alfral and Abdul Shaheem elected as president and vice president of Commerce Association for the academic year 2019-2020.  Rimza Zakir and Heeral Crasta elected as secretary and joint secretary respectively.
