Bantwal, 15 Aug: The rural students are indeed fortunate to study mingling with nature, said Bantwal MLA Rajesh Naik Ulipadyguttu.
Rajesh was speaking during inaugural of Kannada Virtual Class sponsored by Manipal Foundation and Mahamayee Foundation at Government High School, Siddakatte, near here on Wednesday, August 14.
MRPL donated 30 desks and 30 benches to the high school under CSR.
He further said, ‘Teachers and students share strong bond in government schools. I have heard of developments in Siddakatte High School and happy to witness today. The cleanliness, garden, farming and discipline of students is indeed commendable,’ said Rajesh.
Mahamayee Foundation secretary Usha Pai said that the students in state-run schools have capabilities but suffer because of low esteem. The state-run schools have all infra. Its students are genius who can succeed with clear goal in life.
BEO Jnanesh, TP member Prabhakar Prabhu, Sangabettu gram panchayat president Gulabi, vice president Satish, member Sridar S P, Akshara Dasoha assistant director Nonayya, school betterment committee vice president Umesh Gowda were present on the dais.
Vice Principal Ramanand Nujippady welcomed the gathering. The teacher Mamata proposed vote of thanks. The teacher Mahesh Kumar compered the programme.
