Muslim brethrens celebrate Eid-Al-Adha in simple manner in solidarity with flood-victims

Mangaluru, 13 Aug: At the backdrop of floods in many districts of Karnataka including Dakshina Kannada, Muslim brethrens celebrated Eid-Al-Adha in Mangaluru city, Bantwal, Moodbidri, Beltangady, Puttur, Sullia and Kadaba in a simple manner on Monday, August 12.



MLA U T Khader attended the special prayers at Idga masjid, here on Monday, morning.


Addressing the media persons, Khader said, ‘Thousands of people are affected by incessant rains and floods in DK district. At this backdrop we celebrate Eid-Al-Adha without much fanfare. We offer prayers to save mankind from such calamities in the future.’


The newly-appointed City Police Commissioner Dr Harsha visited Idga masjid and conveyed Eid-Al-Adha greetings to Muslim brethrens on the occasion.
