Mangaluru: Tulu Academy delegation urges CM to approve Tulu as optional subject in PUC

Mangaluru, 08 Jun: Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy president A C Bhandary led delegation met CM H D Kumaraswamy at Vidhan Soudha, Bengaluru on Thursday, June 6 evening, and presented a memorandum to the latter in order to approve the proposal to include Tulu as optional subject in PUC.

 

 

The delegation briefed that Tulu is already introduced in high school, degree and post graduate courses. It needs to be included in PUC.

 

CM assured them that he would take early decision after consulting the department officials.

 

The delegation comprised DK district-in-charge minister U T Khader, MLC Harish Kumar, former minister Gangadhar Gowda, former MLA Vasant Bangera, Academy member Taranat Gatti Kapikad, Benet Amanna.
