Moodubelle: Sendoff Function to the 2nd PUC outgoing students

Moodubelle, 16 February 2010: A sendoff function was arranged for the 2nd p.u.c. students on 15.2.2010 at the college auditorium. The 1st p.u.c. studnts sang the prayer song and invoked God’s  blessings on the function.  The computer Lecturer Mrs. Shakunthala welcomed the  gathering.  Students from Arts, Commerce and Science sections shared their experiences in this Institution  for the past 2 years.  They thanked the dedication of the teaching faculty, the guidance of the management , the co-operation of donors and public and love of the classmates.  It was the Golden  Jubilee celebration of the High School section that gave them ample opportunity to grow and to exhibit their talents.  The life here was memorable one. They thanked St. Lawrence for his patronage on his institution.

On behalf of the staff the Lecturer in Political Science Mr. Edward L. D’Souza appreciated the co-operation to the students in all the activities and adviced them about the  goal they have to aim at.  Life had to be taken seriously if at all one has to achieve something in life.  He told the importance of education in ones life.  So he called the students to  make use of the time given to them as revision holiday in a useful way.  He wished them success in their examination and later on in their life.

The Principal conducted a small  excise of inner healing.  The students are asked t o close their eyes and concentrate with in. He took them in their journey here in this institution in their activity, study, and  in their life .  He highlighted the role of parents, teachers, the management, the department and the  old   students and well wishers.  He asked them to pray  for all these.   He asked to take away all the ill feelings against the teachers and the institution.  The relationship which they have with the institution should grow every year in a healthy way.  The students have to meet all the teaching and Non teaching staff and seek their blessings.  He prayed over them for God’s protection ,for the retaining power, to face the exam and success in their examination.

After the prayer the Principal told the students that the college has been placed in “A” Grade. Hence the result has to prove this .  hundred percent result is the need.  He thanked the student’s contribution Rs. 5662 towards the students poor fund.

Mr. Devaraya Shanbhoge Lecturer in Statistics gave the  vote of thanks,  Which is followed by National Antham.  After the instructions the students are given  refreshment.  This programme was a heart touching one.

Those are the sentimental moments when the students leaving the institution. But never forget your college and staff. you will realize the importance of this institution after few years. School is like temple and teachers are like gods so sacred. Also wishing all the students success in thier exams and future career.
