Beltangady: Konkani play, Vinchavnh – Konachi, echoes heavenly choices at Madantyar parish

Beltangady, 21 Mar: The third show of Konkani Biblical play, ‘Vinchavnh - Konachi’ was staged at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church Campus, Madantyar, here on Sunday, March 17.

 

Fr Alwyn Serrao is the playwright of this play that was directed by Christopher Neenasam and Clenvin Fernandes. Eighteen priests from the diocese of Mangaluru acted in the drama.

 

 

Fr Basil Vas, parish priest, Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Madantyar presided the programme. He also felicitated all the priests and technical assistants.

 

Fr Bonaventure Nazareth, deanery vicar of Beltangady welcomed the gathering and gave a brief idea about the drama.

 

Nearly two thousand people, priests and religious were present and all had a positive impact and returned with a clear message.
