Mumbai: Digitization is not an option but necessity – Ashok Suvarna

Mumbai, 11 Mar: The informational workshops are contributing for the growth of society and nation. If the society and youth avail the benefits of such workshops, it would lead to nation building. Digitization is essential for the nation that is developing at a rapid phase. It would also make life and businesses easier. MSMEs are strengthening the national economy, while more youth has to take keen interests in entrepreneurship, said Ashok Suvarna, vice president of Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance.
Suvarna was speaking during conferring of Billawa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) – HDFC Bank Business Excellence Award - 2019 that was held at Bunts Bhavan auditorium, Kurla (East), here on Saturday, March 9.
BCCI president N T Poojary presided the programme.
Krishna Palace Group managing director Krishna Y Shetty, Federation of World Bunts Associations president Ikala Harish Shetty, Central Bank of Oman top officer Dr K Rajesh Nayak, chartered accountant Lokesh Putran Dubai, advocate Ashok Sahani were the chief guests present.
Billawa entrepreneurs Navi Mumbai-based Fine Chemicals Industries founder director K Bhojaraj, Dubai-based Blue Stream Invertmental Technology promoter Jitendra Y Suvarna, Nasik-based Class Pack Private Limited managing director Gangadhar K Amin, Mangaluru-based Father Muller Medical College Hospital HRD and urological surgeon Dr Mohanchandra Kumar Suvarna were conferred BCCI – HDFC Bank Business Excellence Award – 2019.
