Bantwal: Union home minister Rajnath Singh visits historical Polali temple amidst huge gathering

Bantwal, 10 Mar: The union home minister Rajnath Singh visited the historical Rajarajeshwari temple, Polali, near here on Saturday, March 9 evening. The Brahmakalashotsava and other vedic celebrations are underway at the temple that will conclude on March 13.
DK MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, Brahmakalasha Committee chairman and Bantwal MLA Rajesh Naik, honorary president Nagaraj Shetty, Yerya Laxminarayan Alva, MLA Umanat Kotian, temple managing trustee Amunjeguttu Dr Manjayya Shetty, Taranat Alva Ulipadiguttu, Chera Suryanarayan Rao and others welcomed the minister Rajnat Singh at the temple.
The temple priests explained the history of the temple in Sanskrit, while MLA Rajesh Naik presented a memento and history book of the temple.
TP member Yashwant Polali, Bantwal BJP block Committee president Devdas Shetty, Udayakumar Rao, Pavankumar Shetty, Dr Asha Jyoti Rai and others were present.
A large number youth and others were present during his visit.
IGP Arun Chakravarti led the security arrangements.
