Moodbidri: ICYM Moodbidri Unit celebrates Annual Day - 2019

Moodbidri, 13 Feb: ICYM unit of Corpus Christi parish, here celebrated Annual Day at the church ground, recently.

 

The programme was presided by Fr Paul Sequeira – parish priest, Corpus Christi Church, here.

 

Yuvaspoorthi director Fr Ronald Prakash D’Souza, Jaison Leroy Pereira Shirthady – president, ICYM central council, Mangaluru diocese, Aneesh Lobo Kadaba – joint secretary, ICYM Central Council, Mangaluru diocese and deanery representative of ICYM Moodbidri deanery nominated by ICYM central council, Mangaluru diocese, Frenton Irol D’Souza Cascia - PRO, ICYM central council Mangaluru diocese, Francis Monteiro Siddakatte  – president, Roydon Fernandes Paladka – secretary, ICYM Moodbidri deanery, James Crishal D’Souza Kadaba – president, ICYM St Paul eastern deanery, Puttur, John Menezes – vice president, Ronald Serrao – secretary, Moodbidri parish council, Sunil Pinto and Silviya Mascarenhas – animators, Jevish Fernandes – president, Carol Rebello – secretary, ICYM Moodbidri unit were at the dais.

 

 

It was inaugurated by Fr Paul Sequiera and chief guest Yuvaspoorthi director Fr Ronald Prakash D’Souza along with other guests by busting the balloons which was placed on the year of youth flex banner.

 

Carol Rebello - secretary, ICYM Moodbidri unit read out the annual report of the year 2018-19.

 

Fr Paul Sequeira and Fr Ronald Prakash D’Souza congratulated the youth of ICYM Moodbidri unit for organizing the annual celebration.

 

On this auspicious occasion, Fr Paul Sequeira distributed medical aid to a physically challenged girl - Shruthi and also felicitated the sponsors for their contributions towards this event.

 

Members of ICYM, YCS, other organizations and the parishioners presented cultural events. Special attraction of the eve was performance by Team Bindas Pernal.

 

Jevish Fernandes – president, ICYM Moodbidri unit welcomed the gathering. Carol Rebello - secretary, ICYM Moodbidri unit proposed the vote of thanks. Jane Rashmi Fernandes, Carol Correa and Joyston D’Souza compered the programme. The programme concluded with a sumptuous dinner. It was a fun-filled day and a day to remember.
