Mangaluru: Prayers offered for Laity leaders during 6th day of novena

Mangaluru, 12 Feb: Fr Ravi Rudolf D’Sa, director of Father Muller Medical College Hospital offered the Holy Mass on the sixth day of the novena in preparation for the feast of Relic at Milagres Church on Monday, February 11 at 6.00pm for the intention of leaders.

 

 

There are many people who voluntarily offer their service to the community. They sacrifice a lot of their time and energy. But their services go unrecognized. In this backdrop, Fr Ravi called on the people to appreciate such services so that it gives more energy to the leaders to serve the people with more enthusiasm. The prayers of the faithful were offered for the leaders and for the family members of leaders who also lend their support to the leaders in their responsibilities.

 

After the Holy Mass all the leaders were invited to come forward near the altar and were prayed for by sprinkling holy water on them.

 

Fr Thrishan D’Souza, assistant director of St Anthony’s Charitable Institutions conducted the Novena. Fr Onil D’Souza thanked the choir group from Panir Church. A large number of devotees participated in the devotion.
