Mangaluru: DYFI cautions against illegal erection of telecom tower at Talapady

Mangaluru, 08 Dec: The local residents led by DYFI urged Talapady gram panchayat to stall the illegal erection of telecom tower at Panjala, near here.

 

 

The erection of tower will pose hindrance to the locals. Despite the opposition of gram panchayat and taluk panchayat members, the telecom tower is being erected without informing the local administration.

 

DYFI and the locals submitted a memorandum to panchayat development officer (PDO) to stall the process at the earliest.

 

DYFI Talapady Committee convener Ashraf K C Road and Panjala Nagarika Hitarakshana Samiti president Abbas Panjala, in a media release cautioned the local administration to stage aggravated protest if they don’t take any action in this regard.
