Taccode: Celebration of International Year of Youth

Taccode, 07 May 2011: Historical and religious Konkani mega Play ‘Yuvajanancho Apostle Don Bosco’ (Don Bosco an Apostle of Youth) written and directed by Rev. Dr. Mark Castelino was staged on Easter Sunday at 7.00 p.m. in honour of the International Year of Youth (IYY) at Puttur Church ground on four drama stages with 80 artists.

 

The artists from the Konkan Karavaliche Kalaakar (KKK), Mangalore, Taccode, many of them are youngsters along with a good number of experienced seniors, have given a clear message to the youth and parents of today to build the modern society based on learning a trade to earn their daily livelihood,  but at the same time having firm faith in God to build the families.

 

 

 

 

The Don Bosco Club of Puttur, who took the initiative in staging this mega Konkani Play at Puttur and the people were very happy to watch this drama on the life story of Don Bosco.
