Mangaluru: Charismatic Convention held at St Sebastian’s parish, Permannur

Mangaluru, 06 Dec 2017: St Sebastian’s parish, Permannur, here, organized 4-day Charismatic Convention, as part of centenary jubilee celebrations, at parish grounds, from Thursday, November 30 to Sunday, December 3.

 

This Charismatic retreat was preached by Fr Anthony Payyapalli V C, who uplifted the spirit by his powerful preaching of the Word of God. During this retreat special prayers were held for the youth and children, sick and the old, couples and consecrated people. Confessions and healing sessions were held in the Church.

 

 

This retreat witnessed around 3000 faithful from the parish and nearby parishes. Bro Vincent provided music and led the praise and worship along with Bro Elias. Annamma translated the preaching into Kannada. Fr J B Saldanha, parish priest, Fr Stany Pinto and  Fr Lizel D’Souza, Assistant parish priests, Fr Felix Noronha, Chaplain at Nirmala Convent assisted during this retreat.
