Beltangady: 57 people contribute blood at camp organized by Madantyar parish ICYM unit

Beltangady, 14 Nov 2017: ICYM unit of Sacred Heart parish, Madantyar, near here, in association with Mangalure-based A J Hospital, organized blood camp under Red Drop Crop campaign, to commemorate post centenary silver jubilee celebration, at Guardian Angel School, here, on Sunday, November 12.

 

Madantyar parish priest Fr Basil Vas presided the programme. Fr Basil commended the blood camp that was organized by ICYM unit.

 

 

 

Madantyar assistant parish priest Fr Jerome D’Souza, principal Fr Alwyn D’Souza, deanery ICYM president Manish, A J Hospital blood bank in charge Balakrishna, ICYM central council PRO Rohan Lewis, Madantyar ICYM unit president Tyson D’Cunha and others were present.

 

Balakrishna spoke about the significance of voluntary blood donation. Tyson D’Cunha welcomed the gathering.  The secretary Arvin Moras proposed vote of thanks.

 

Fifty-seven contributed their blood in a goodwill gesture.
