Bantwal: Eshwarappa urges CM Siddaramaiah to make public caste-based census data

Bantwal, 13 Nov 2017: If Congress has genuine concern on backward classes, let them support National Backward Classes Act in Rajyasabha and also publish the caste-based census that was done by spending several crore of rupees in Karnataka, said legislative council opposition leader K S Eshwarappa.
Eshwarappa was addressing the mega convention of BJP activists at B C Road, here, on Saturday, November 11, which was organized as part of Nava Karnataka Parivartan Yatra.
PM Narendra Modi-led union government formed National Backward Classes Commission to grant constitutional rights and got parliament’s nod, while Congress is blocking at Rajya Sabha, alleged Eshwarappa. He further said let CM Siddaramaiah convince Sonia and Rahul to support the Act.
