Mangaluru: A J Institute of Allied Health Sciences organizes orientation programme for freshers

Mangaluru, 04 Nov 2017: A J Institute of Allied Health Sciences, here, organized an ’Inauguration and Orientation Programme of Allied Health Sciences Batch 2017-18’ at the A J Auditorium, here, on October 30.
The event was presided by Prashanth Shetty, vice president, Laxmi Memorial Education Trust®.
Professor Dr Francis N P Monteiro, principal, A J Institute of Allied Health Sciences welcomed the gathering and encouraged the freshers to put their maximum effort to attain their goals. He also thanked the management for their continuous support in all the academic activities.
Professor Dr Ashok Hegde, Dean, A J Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre highlighted the importance of Allied Health Science courses in healthcare. He elaborated on the utility of allied courses in the health care delivery system.
Professor Dr E V S Maben, Professor and head of department of general medicine, A J Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre delivered the orientation address and explained about the Role of paramedics and their importance in health care profession.
Prasanth Shetty delivered the presidential address and elaborated on the vision and mission of A J Group of Institutions. He congratulated the students for selecting paramedical course and assured management’s continuous support in achieving their educational goals.
A J Institute of Allied Health Sciences trains students in the wide array of allied health science courses such as M Sc Medical Laboratory Technology, B Sc Medical Laboratory Technology, B Sc Medical Imaging Technology, B Sc Renal Dialysis Technology, B Sc Perfusion Technology, B Sc Optometry, B Sc Respiratory Care Technology, B Sc Operation Theatre Technology, B Sc Radiotherapy Technology, B Sc Neuro Science Technology and B Sc Cardiac Care Technology. Students from various parts of Southern India and a few students from other parts of the world have enrolled in this batch of 2017-18.
Tripthi Uchil, lecturer, department of microbiology proposed the vote of thanks. Ramya Kunder, lecturer, department of microbiology compered the entire orientation programme.
