Bantwal: Vittal police seize trucks ferrying sand illegally to Kerala; 3 arrested

Bantwal, 04 Nov 2017: The cops seized 3 trucks transporting sand illegally to Kerala at Kanyana, near Vittal, here on Friday, November 3 early morning.

 

The cops also arrested the truck drivers Harish, a resident of Mangaluru, Abdul Rauf, a resident of Beltangady and Khaleel, a resident of Deralakatte, Mangaluru.

 

 

 

The drivers confessed that they were transporting the sand to Kerala for bigger gains.

 

Vittal sub-inspector Nagaraj and policemen were involved in this operation.

 

A case has been booked at Vittal police station in this regard.
