Moodubelle: Public Felicitation to Presidents of Jilla Panchayath and Taluk Panchayath

Moodubelle, 27 February 2011: Recently elected Jilla Panchayath President Shankara Poojary and Taluk Panchayath President Devadas Hebbar were felicitated in a public function organized by Bharatiya Janatha Party Belle–Kattingeri  Sthaniya Samithi at Lions Bhavana Moodubelle on Saturday 26th February 2011.

 

Kaup MLA Lalaji R. Mendon presided over the function and in his presidential address he said that both Udupi Jilla Panchayath and Taluk Panchayath presidential positions have come to Kaup constituency, hence we have more strength now for the development of the constituency.

 

Jilla BJP President K. Udayakumar Shetty in his felicitation speech said that, ever since the Congress administration time Katapadi Shankara poojary had taken the party ahead from the lower position and now has become the Jilla Panchayath President. Also the same way Devadas Hebbar who is from Belle rural area, has become Taluk Panchayath President and have accompanied.

 

 

On this occasion Vidhana Parishad Member Kota Shrinivasa Poojary, Udupi Jilla Mahila Morcha President Reshma Uday Shetty, BJP leader Mattaru Rathnakar Hegde, Jilla Yuva Morcha President Vilas Kumar Nayak, Kaup Constituency BJP President Kuthyaru Naveen Shetty, Secretary Jithendra Shetty, Yuva Morcha President Santhosh Suvarna, Bharatiya Janatha Party Belle-Kattingeri Sthaniya Samithi President Rajendra Shetty, Sthaniya Samithi Secretary Ivan Dalmeida and BJP Mahila Morcha President Ranjani Hegde were also present.

 

Lalaji Mendon and Senior BJP leader Somashekara Bhat felicitated both the Jilla and Taluk Panchayath Presidents. Jilla Panchayath Former President Jerald Fernandes welcomed the gathering. Santhosh Moodubelle compeered the program. Moodubelle Grama Panchayath Former President Shashidhara Wagle proposed vote of thanks.
