Belle Grama Panchayath Members & Staff Felicitate Devdas Hebbar and Ida D’Souza

Moodubelle, 26 February 2011: Members and Staff of Belle Grama Panchayath felicitated newly elected Taluk Panchayath President Mr. Devdas Hebbar and Jilla Panchayath Member Mrs. Stella Ida D’souza at 11.30 am on Saturday, 26th February in a brief function held at Belle Grama Panchayath Office. Belle Grama Panchyath Vice President Mrs. Sujatha Suvarna, Former Jilla Panchayath Mamber Mr. Jerald Fernandes and Village Accountant Ganesh Kulal were also present on the dais on this occasion.
Mrs. Jecintha Aranha and Panchayath Members felicitated Mr. Devadas Hebbar and Mrs. Stella Ida D’Souza. Speaking on the occasion Mrs. Stella Ida D’Souza thanked everyone for electing her as the Member of Jilla Panchayath and assured that she will work hard for the development of the Village and requested everyone’s cooperation.
In his speech Mr. Devdas Hebbar expressed his gladness for arranging the felicitation on behalf of the Panchayath. He also said that, he wants to serve the community and put his efforts into the development for the people of Belle Grama Panchayath and this will be the most important achievement of his life.
Mr. Ramappa Hithalamani P.D.O welcomed the gathering. Mrs. Jecintha Aranha, Belle Panchayath President, proposed vote of thanks. The program was compeered by Mr. Harish Shetty.

| Our Hemphill Bai only worried about the road from Udupi to Moodubelle He is not bothered about Moodubelle north and south, may be he doesn t know, these roads are very bad condition nearly four decades, hardly we can walk, why only because of our party politics Panchayat not getting any financial help from the Government then what do we expect, what Panchayat can do with their empty hands only they can do the maintenance that s all There is nothing wrong with that to Recognise or honour newly elected leaders from our village. | This is one of the "best works of Life". Recognize and honour those from the soil, (native) you will be honoured and blessed in many folds. Because they are knowing the local problems and also the remedies. Belle Panchayath has done well in honouring these two leaders, Mrs Ida and Mr Hebbar who have won the Panchayath elections and also representing the Panchayath area in the Zilla Taluk Panchayaths. May god bless them with success in serving the people and may the God provide them with sufficient financial hlp from the Government, without party politics . Every one is working for the nation(?). Let serve the people and you will serve God. | |
