Dubai: SMMC to present Pradeep Barboza’s new Konkani drama on Apr 15

Dubai, 15 Feb 2016: As assured last year, St. Mary’s Mangalorean Community (SMMC) Dubai has announced a brand new comedy Konkani play ‘Savaay Budvont’.

 

Fr. Robert Lasrado, Spiritual Director of SMMC described that objective of this event is to provide healthy entertainment to the families of Konkan parishioners of St. Mary’s Church - Dubai and also to all Konkani speaking people of UAE.

 

SMMC, Dubai has planned many events for this year for the entertainment and spiritual enhancement of Konkani community of Dubai.  After hosting a successful sports event in the mid of this month, SMMC Committee now fully geared up to present this drama.

 

 

‘Savaay Budvont’  a comedy play has been written and directed  by Konkani’s well known, multifaceted and  talented Pradeep Barboza.  Pradeep is well known name in India and in the Middle East for his excellent Konkani dramas. Being a fantastic actor,  Pradeep will co-perform in this latest play with his artistic team.

 

This comedy drama will be exhibited for the first time in UAE, supported by SMMC Dubai in the premises of St. Mary’s Church,  Dubai on April 15th (Friday) from 7:30 pm to 10:30pm.  SMMC, Dubai’s pure intention is to provide complete entertainment to each person of the Konkan community, so the entry will be FREE TO ALL on first-come-first –serve basis.
