Mumbai: Women led religious celebrations enhances self esteem- Ratna P Shetty

Mumbai, 25 Jan 2016: Kannada Sangh-Santacruz, here organized annual Kumkum programme at Billava Bhavan auditorium, Santacruz (East) here on Friday January 22.
Ratna Prabhakar Shetty was the chief guest inaugurated the programme.
Sudha L Amin, Neetha Chapekar, Kalpana Krishna Shetty, Sasi Nityanand Kotian, Sujata Ramesh Kotian, Jayanti V Ullal and Yashoda B Poonja were the chief guests of the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, L V Amin said that the religious and cultural programmes that are presented by women gradually prepare the ground for women-centric society. The women empowerment leads to stronger nation. The celebrations also lead to health and prosperity.
Ratna Shetty said that the religious celebrations led by women develop their self esteem because she is the mentor in the family for cultural upbringing.
Karnataka Sangh-Santacruz honorary treasurer chartered accountant Ramesh A Shetty, education Committee chairman B Ravindra Amin, joint secretary Chandrahas J Kotian, G R Bangera, Lingappa Amin, women wing president Shakila P Shetty, Vanita Y Nonda, Shalini G Shetty, Suma M Poojary and others were present.
The women wing office bearers and others partaken in the programme.
The social and cultural Committee president Sharada S Poojary welcomed the gathering. The honorary general secretary Sujata R Shetty compered the programme. The secretary Laxmi Kotian proposed vote of thanks.
