Organising an event such as poetry session or seminar is a difficult job, because there is not much support from public. Somehow people lost interest in literature due to several modern life factors. Hats off to Sannu Monis for your leadership.

Rickson, why you need such poetry seminars in Moodubelle when Belle people do not understand poetry and have no interest. Belle people are good for parties, show off, fighting, and politics everywhere. Tomorrow there will be two groups of BJP and Congress supporters within poets. We are happy with our own world of Whatsapp gossip and enjoyment in moodubelle

Dear Sannu, It was my privilege to be a part of yet another programme organised by you. Last time it was Konkani Sobhann, this time Kavitha Bhonvar! I congratulate you and all the like-minded people who were present there for the event and helped to bring about awareness of Konkani Kavitha. I can now say confidently that Konkani poems and literature do have a platform to be showcased. My appreciation for all the poets who presented their poems and helped to keep Konkani poems alive... Keep up your good work!

I am happy to see active participation of several Belleans in this event. Gurkhaar Sannu Monis, Ace compere Godwin, Poet Joy Lobo and a big supporter Ronald Saby. People who attended were very happy as this was a quality program. Sadly people are not interested in literature and kavitha today due to busy life style and unwanted importance to gadgets and digital entertainment. Hope we realise the importance of such quality work and tradition. |
