Mumbai: India’s First blind-person-friendly Painting Exhibition under way at Nehru Centre, Wor

Mumbai, 30 Sep 2015: India’s First Painting Exhibition, which blind person also can read, feel, enjoy and experience the all paintings. Artist Chintamani Hasabnis organized this Close eyes and open minds painting exhibition at Nehru Centre, Worli, here from September 29 to October 5 open during 11.00am to 7.00pm.
Famous actress Sonali Kulkarni and famous artist Ravi Paranjape inaugurated this Exhibition here on Tuesday September 29.
Artist Chintamani Hasbnis presented unique concept that is Lata in portrait, 9 small paintings created a big Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar’s big portrait. This concept will be at the show every day from12.30pm and 5.00pm.
Around 100 of blind students were present during inaugural function and enjoyed/experienced all the paintings. All students were very much happy to see this kind unique paintings and portraits.
Total 22 paintings and important paintings - Prime Minister Narendra Modi, actor Amitabh Bachhan (Black Movie), Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar, actor Dilip Prabhavlkar, Pandit Shivkumar Sharma, Pandit Ravi Shankar are on display.
