Moodubelle, 08 December 2010: Girl of 10 years with broken skin on the whole body is suffering from rare skin decease. Her parents are exhausted and are helpless. Life of the little girl is horrible as she suffers severe pain in her whole body.
The skin of the whole body has dried and broken and there are wounds like scratches whole over. The skin of the body has turned into other colour. This lean girl is Akshatha of Mulikambla, Moodubelle, daughter of Ravindra Acharya and Sujatha Acharya. She had this rare skin disease since her birth.
As per the Doctors opinion Akshatha had this disease even before she was born. With the scares on her body with this disease, even though she is 10 years old she could not be admitted to school as other children in the school would get scared. So her parents are taking care of her at home itself.
Her parents are very much worried for her future as even though they treated her in various places there is no improvement. Even after trying Alopathy, Homeopathy, country medicine but there is no cure so far. Her parents wandered to various places in search of proper treatment and spent more than Rs. 50,000 but there has been no use so far.
Other than this skin decease her health is alright. Intake of food, digestion and other things are normal in her. But it is difficult to watch her in pain when she suffers. No other children mix up with her so most of the time she is alone, but learns to read and write from her younger brother and sister.
Skin Doctor who is treating her is hoping that when she reaches to the stage of puberty this decease might be cured. As this has been a great challenge to the medical field, everyone wishes that her decease be cured so that she can mingle with rest of the children and have a healthy life.
Since her parents are very poor and does the daily wages labour work with not much income, if any kind hearted people could offer any financial help to them they will be able to give her better treatment and may cure this decease.
