New Office of Bellevision Media Network inaugurated in Belle

Udupi, 05 Oct 2014: The new office of Bellevision Media Network (Bellevision Global) was inaugurated and blessed on Sunday, 5 October 2014 at 9.30 am. The new office is located on the first floor of  the newly constructed building of Victor D’Almeida on the Main Road, Moodubelle.

 

Ronald Sabi D’Souza, founder member of Bellevision and one of the pioneers of the launching of Bellevision Media Network way back in 2002 inaugurated the new office of Bellevision Global by cutting the ribbon in the presence of Rev. Fr. Joswey Fernandes, parish priest of St. Lawrence Church, Moodubelle, Elias D’Souza-Editor-in-Chief of Bellevision.Com, Alphonse Mendonca-Chief Correspondent of Bellevision.Com, Abudhabhi and distinguished guests and invitees.

 

Following the inauguration of the office, Rev. Fr. Joswey Fernandes conducted prayer service and blessed the office and other vacant shopping premises in the building.

 

A brief stage programme was organized presided over by Rev. Fr. Joswey Fernandes. Eric D’Souza, Preampalli, a businessman and a strong supporter of Bellevision was the guest of honour. Ronald Sabi D’Souza and Elias D’Souza were also on the dais.

 

 

HM Pernal, Editor of favourite Konakni literary website “Kittall” and fortnightly journal “Arso”  compeered the programme and welcomed the guests. In his introductory remarks, HM Pernal traced the growth of Bellevision Media Network from humble beginning to one of the popular websites that has been prompt in uploading news from  different regions  including the Gulf countries. He also mentioned about the different columns that cater the interests of different sections of the viewers.

 

In his address, Ronald Sabi D’Souza recalled the early days when Bellevision.com was launched in 2002 and the amount of struggle that he along with other members of Bellevision, especially Elias D’Souza and his brother Sigfred D’Souza had to undergo. He mentioned about the gradual growth of Bellevision Media Network and expressed happiness that an independent office under the name Bellevision Global has been established. He expressed gratitude to all the supporters, well-wishers and viewers of Bellevision.com.

 

Following the address by Ronald Sabi D’Souza, the chief guest Eric D’Souza, Perampalli along with Rev. Fr. Joswey Fernandes, Elias D’Souza, Roanld Sabi D’Souza, Commodore Jerome Castelino and Pundalika Marathe, renowned journalist lighted the lamp marking the formal inauguration of Bellevision Global office.

 

Rev. Fr. Joswey Fernandes in is message lauded the contribution of Bellevision especially towards the  education of economically disadvantaged students of the parish institutions. He also placed on record the good work done by Bellevision.com, the website that has become a link between Belle and surrounding regions  and those from these regions living in foreign countries. He appreciated the content of the website and expressed hope that it will grow further and would become global in the real sense of the term.

 

The inaugural function was attended by Mrs. Ida Gibba D’Souza-member of Udupi Zilla Panchayat, Alphonse K. Alva and Mrs. Emilia Noronha-Vice President and Secretary respectively of Parish Pastoral Council.

 

Alphonse Mendonca proposed the vote of thanks.

 

Mr. Wilson Fernandes, Managing Director of Fernandes Group of Co’s and a staunch supporter of Bellevison visited the Bellevision Global office and was greeted by Elias D’Souza.
