Indian Youth Society (IYS)-Kuwait presented ’PAPA KAHTE HAIN’

Kuwait, 03 Oct 2014: Indian Youth Society (IYS)-Kuwait presented " PAPA KAHTE HAIN "on 26th September 2014 at Dr. Kamel Al-Rayes Auditorium, American International School, MaidanHawalli- Kuwait from 6:30 pm . King of love songs Udit Narayan and his star singer son Aditya Narayan performed together live for the first time ever in Kuwait. The program started with formal welcome by President ShabbirQamar and his heart touching very emotional speech about the father son relation.
After the national anthem of Kuwait and India, ShabbirQamar introduced the compere of the evening, Shakier Shaikh. Indian Ambassador to Kuwait HE Sunil Jain spoke few words on the event. Sponsors of the events were honored with memento after a foot tapping dance performance by Kuwait’s well known dance group D’Illusions and Punjabi Friend’s Bhangra Group. Mr. Prabjit Singh presented a cheque for Rs 50,000 to Indian Ambassador to Kuwait HE Sunil Jain on behalf of IYS as a contribution to Prime Minister’s Jammu and Kashmir flood relief fund.

SalimZaman was honored for his hard work and support for the event by a memento. It was a unique way of facilitating to the Sponsors. It was done with background music, voiceover and special prepared video presentation which was excellent and something not done before.

Deepa Narayan Jha started the musical evening with the first two songs. Then came the most awaiting moment with a grand entry of today’s young generation heart throb Aditya Narayan. The houseful crowd was overwhelmed with joy and was screaming to the top of their voice which was fairly balanced by Aditya with his entertainment. He thoroughly entertained with his popular numbers like dhishkiyaan and TatadTatad. Audiance were full of emotions when both father and son performed together on few very popular numbers including the title song PAPA KAHTE HAIN.Aditya Narayan became emotional while introducing his father first time ever on stage.

 

 

Kuwaiti Mubarak Alrashed sung the song Main Hoon Don and Anaya Brahma from Mumbai also sung few very famous Bollywood numbers in between before the second entry of Father son duo.

Udit Narayan and Family were honored with a memento by Mr. NadimQuamarAzami.

A souvenir was released by Udit Narayan, Indian Ambassador HE Sunil Jain and so many other sponsors of the event and other dignitaries.
