Bangalore: Nurse kills self with injection

Bangalore, 12 January 2011: Ashamed at being caught for submitting fake documents, nurse L Dakshayini, 24, allegedly attempted suicide by injecting anaesthesia into her veins on January 6. She died on Tuesday afternoon in the same hospital where she had worked.

 

Dakshayini, a resident of Vinaykanagar in Hebbagodi police limits, had got a job at the hospital a year ago by producing fake documents. "The management found out about this recently and served her notice. It attached a copy of a letter of another private hospital which had dismissed her for the same reason," police said.
