Udupi: Smuggled Liquor from Goa in Mathsyaganda Express caught

Udupi, 22 November 2010: Smuggled Liquor worth Rs. 35,000 from Goa, which was being taken to Thrishur, in Mathsyaganda Express is caught by Udupi Railway and Excise Police at Udupi Indrali Railway Station on Monday morning at around 4.00 am.

 

 

The person carrying the smuggled liquor, Dayanad (49 years) a resident of Kerala is arrested. In the smuggled liquor there were 1400 packets of 90 ml. This raid was carried out by T. Thimmayya of Excise Dept.  along with   Imran, Shekar Nayak, Vittal Poojary and others.
