Devdas Kapikad’s Kannada film ’Purushottamana Prasanga’ premieres in Mangaluru

Mangaluru, 04 Mar 2024: The Kannada movie ’Purushottamana Prasanga’ produced by V Ravikumar and A Shamshuddin, under the direction of Dr Devdas Kapikad, held it’s grand premiere show on Sunday, March 3 at Big Cinemas in Mangaluru.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Bhujabali from Sri Dharmasthala Kshetra said "Devdas Kapikad is very dear to us. Everyone is an artiste here. I wish them all success. I will tell you more about this movie once I watch it. I believe that such a movie was never created before. I hope that such efforts will pay off and I also hope that this movie works well not only in Mangaluru but all over the country and in the Gulf."

 

Present on this occasion was Rashid Vittal who said that, "Purshotamana Prasanga links Bengaluru to Mangaluru today. The movie is directed by Devdas Kapikad and I saw this movie in Bengaluru. At the end of this movie in Bengaluru I had tears in my eyes. This movie is running successfully all over the state and in Bengaluru too Devdas Kapikad has a number of fans. Similarly, Ajay is gaining appreciation and a fan following in Mangaluru. This movie has proved that Tulu actors can rule Gandhinagar."

 

 

Director of the movie Devdas Kapikad who was also present said, "I am happy that this movie is getting recognition from people of Bengaluru and all over the State. In Bengaluru, when the audiences saw the movie they started crying and they hugged the main lead of the film at the end. At that moment I felt that we have achieved something and that the hero had done justice to this movie."

 

Vijay Kumar Kodialbail said,  "No one knows when does Devdas Kapikad get the free time? We are eagerly waiting to watch this movie."

 

On this occasion, Devdas Kapikad, Prakash Pandeshwar, Vijay Kumar Kodialbail, Laxman Kumar, Sai Krishna Kudla, Sharmila Kapikad, Deepika and others were present.

 

The film’s story, screenplay and dialogues has been penned and directed by Devdas Kapikad. The movie is co-directed by Arjun Kapikad and cinematography has been handled by Vishnu Prasad P.

 

Executive producers of this movie are Sharmila D Kapikad, R N T Abubakkar Puttu while Nakul Abhayankar has scored the music. Sujith Nayak is the editor.
