Much-awaited Tulu movie ’Mr Madimaye’ releases in Mangaluru

Mangaluru, 13 Jan 2024: The grand release event of Tulu movie ’Mr Madimaye’, a film by Naveen G Poojary and team was held at Big Cinemas here on Saturday January 6.

 

Addressing the gathering, Rajesh Guruji expressed his joy and said, "It is a great initiative taken by the team of Mr Madimaye. They have done a good job. I request everyone to support this film and other initiatives like this. I wish them the best and I pray that they achieve success."

 

Environmentalist R K Nayar said, "Mr Madimaye has been made with lots of effort. I am happy to be here. Tulu language should be preserved. Since it is not being taught at schools, children do not know how to write it. Hence, the only way we can restore this language is through dramas and films. After Kantara, Tulu people have started to come back to their roots and it is making us happy. All I have to say is Tulu is the best language in the entire world. Hence I request everyone all to watch this movie.”

 

 

Producer T A Srinivas said, "Mr Madimaye is an excellent effort from Sai Krishna. This movie takes a different approach and I am excited to watch it. I request all Tulu speakers to watch this movie and support it. The only problem is lack of theatres for Tulu films. We should promote Tulu movies to such an extent that the general public comes to theatres and watch them. It is important to promote new producers, directors and artistes."

 

All the crew members of Mr Madimaye were present. The inauguration was done with the ceremonial lamp lighting.

 

Mr Madimaye is co-produced by Mithun KS and Rajesh Ferrao under MMM group and Yashah Studio Productions.

 

Tulu Film Producers’ Association president R Dhanraj, Prakash Pandeshwar, Ismail Moodushedde, Muhammad Atif, Tasleem, Tamma Lakshmana, Rajesh Guruji, Rahul Amin, lead actor Saikrishna Kudla, actress Shweta Suvarna, Jyotish Shetty, producers Mithun KS, Chetan, Rajesh Ferrao, director Naveen K Poojary and others were present.
