Protest by BJP District SC and ST Morcha condemning the anti-Dalit policy of the state government

Udupi, 11 Aug 2023: BJP State SC Morcha general secretary Dinakara Babu, BJP Udupi district president Kuiladi Suresh Naik, Mangalore division in-charge K. Udaya Kumar Shetty, Udupi former MLA K. Raghupathi Bhat, district SC Morcha president Gopal Kalanji and BJP district vice president Gitanjali M. addressing the Suvarna protest meeting, the state government has transferred the funds earmarked for the development of the SC and ST communities to the Congress party’s election guarantees, which is an anti-constitutional move. They demanded that the state government should immediately re-reserve the fixed amount of Rs 11,000 crore for the development of the Dalit community.

 

 

The state government, which is involved in corruption in all departments, has proved once and for all that Congress means corruption. They said that the government, which is unable to provide money for the guarantees of freebies announced by the Congress party in its obsession to get power, is bringing the state to the brink of bankruptcy and is engaging in the craze of allocating the money earmarked for the development of Dalits for the provision of guarantees to all classes, which is a clear violation of social justice.
