Durgaparameshwarri Friends Club®, Nandalike holds Aatidonji Dina; enlivens Aaati tradition

Karkala, 16 Aug 2021: Aatidonji Dina, a unique celebration of erstwhile Tulunad was jointly organized by Durgaparameshwarri Friends Club®, Nandalike – Abbanadka; both Karnataka and Udupi district award recipient and Ganeshotsav Samiti – Abbanadka, near here on August 12.

 

JCI zonal vice president Girish S P inaugurated the event.

 

The Club president Bola Uday Anchan presided the programme.

 

 

Pratviraj Ballal, headmaster of Vidya Bodhini Aided Higher Primary School, Kedinje was the chief guest of the occasion.

 

The Club past president Abbanadka Satish Poojary welcomed the gathering. The secretary Abbanadka Hariprasad Acharya proposed vote of thanks. The convener Abbanadka Sandeep V Poojary compered the programme.

 

The event director Ashwini Poojary, women organizing secretary Pushpa Kulal was present at the dais.

 

Nandalike gram panchayat member Padmasri Poojary, Bola gram panchayat member Raghuveer Shetty, Club former presidents Dinesh Poojary and Suresh Poojary, vice president Prashant Poojary, joint secretary Harinakshi Poojary, treasurer Veena Poojary were also present.

 

Twenty-five varieties of delicacies that were prepared by women were served to the gathering to mark Aatidonji Dina.
