Outcome of elections in 5 states form basis for upcoming Lok Sabha elections - Sorake

Bantwal, 30 Nov: The announcement of results of recently held elections in 5 states on December 11 will predict the future of nation, said Karnataka former minister Vinayakumar Sorake.

 

Sorake was speaking during the installation of new officers Baby Kunder, president of Bantwal block Congress and Sudeep Kumar Shetty, president of Panemangaluru block Congress and party activists meet held at B C Road, here, on Thursday, November 29.

 

 

‘The candidates in Udupi and Dakshina Kannada district faced defeat in the last Karnataka Vidhan Sabha elections because of rigorous propaganda by the opponents. Meanwhile, the voters will give fitting reply to PM Modi in the upcoming Lok Sabha fitting reply because of his series of lies. Bantwal legislative constituency has seen rapid growth at the leadership of former minister Ramanat Rai, during the reign of CM Siddaramaiah,’ said Sorake. He alleged BJP MPs are major exporters of beef.

 

In his presidential address, Rai said, ‘BJP has been engaged in propaganda against Congress and me stooping to low politics. Meanwhile, I will continue my duties as a staunch congressman unbothered of low level tactics by the opponents,’ said Rai.

 

In his keynote address, advocate Sudhir Kumar M emphasized Congress candidate to win in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls in DK and Udupi districts. BJP has been causing divisions among the voters. The merging of Vijaya Bank that was founded in DK district, succor to many was distressing issue. The rights bestowed on National Constitution are endangered today, while Congress rule once again will restore majority trust.

 

KPCC secretary M S Mohammed, Mamata Gatti, district youth Congress president Mitun Rai, women Congress president Shalet Pinto, SC unit president Shekar Kukkedi, Karnataka Cashew Board former president B H Khader, Panemangaluru block overseer Abdul Rauf and others were present.
