Mangaluru: JDS urges DC to complete 4-lane works from Tokkottu-Pumpwell swiftly

Mangaluru, 09 Jul 2018: JDS – Mangaluru legislative constituency presented a memorandum to ADC Kumar, here, on Saturday, July 7, urging the district administration to instruct NHAI to complete laying four-lanes from Talapady to Pumpwell and construction of flyover at Tokkottu, here and withhold to collect toll charges till the entire works are completed.

 

 

The four-lane conversion from Talapady to Pumpwell has been going on since 8 years, causing hardships to motorists. The construction materials stacked all over is nightmare to road users especially during nights. The traffic snarls are common at this stretch of road, with lost time for wage earners, office goers and others.

 

JDS Mangaluru president Mohandas Shetty, JDS Karnataka leader Nazir Ullal, state secretary Dinakar Ullal, DK district vice president H Sali, Ullal town panchayat president Puttu Monu Hussein, secretary Gangadhar Ullal, Khalil Mukkaccheri, Belma gram panchayat former president Aksa Usman, Ibrahim Ullal and others were present.
