PFI protests against Jarkhand state admin for banning PFI

Bantwal, 24 Feb 2018: Popular Front of India (PFI), Bantwal and Farangipet units staged protest in front of Mini Vidhan Soudham, B C Road, here, on Friday, February 23, against Jarkhand state administration for banning PFI.
Addressing the protesters, Dakshina Kannada district PFU member Ashraf Machar said that PFI is operating in a few regions of Jarkhand since 2005, opposing the partialities of state administration and its officers. Meanwhile, Jarkhand state administration led by Hindu communal outfits banned PFI as the former cannot truce on their ideology, alleged Ashraf.
SDPI Karnataka state secretary Riyaz Farangipet said that Shambulal, an activist of Hindu communal outfit in Rajasthan killed a certain Afzal and set him on fire; later posted the pics and incident in social media which depicted the cruelty worst than ISIS in Middle East. PFI was banned in Jarkhand, on the same day when the hearing was held against group violence. It’s an attempt to silence the voice against violence, said Riyaz.
PFI always committed for secularity that is bestowed in Indian Constitution. The secular political parties such as Congress, JDS CPI (M), BSP and others who are mum on fascist forces banning PFI threatens the sovereignty of India, alleged Riyaz.
SDPI Bantwal president S H, PFI Bantwal general secretary Salim Munish Ali, Iqbal Goodinabali and others were present. Rehman Mata compered the programme.
The protests were also held at Vittal against Jarkhand for banning PFI.
