Mangaluru: Foundation laid to develop Sturrock Road @ Rs 1.90 crore

Mangaluru, 08 Jan 2018: MLA J R Lobo and Mayor Kavita Sanil laid the foundation for developing Sturrock Road, here, on Friday, January 5.

 

 

Addressing the media persons, MLA Lobo said the road will be developed at a cost of Rs 1.90 crore under Premium Affairs Fund. The road will have drains and footpath because that is the vital road leading to Mangaluru Central Railway Station.

 

The town planning chairman Abdul Rauf, health Committee chairperson Nagaveni, corporator A C Vinayaraj, former corporators Sasidar Hegde, Suresh Babu, Ramachandra Karkera and Dharmanna Naik, KSRTC director T K Sudhir, youth Congress ward president Toufiq, deputy municipal commissioner (development) Linge Gowda, executive engineer Gururaj, Marala Halli, assistant engineer Vishalanat, junior engineer Raghupala, contractor Jasiruddin and others were present.
