Udupi: Teenage is not to think about others – Captain Anand

Udupi, 15 Dec 2017: ‘We are models in God’s creation. Everyone is capable of carving individual life. Living on other’s shadow is not real life. The dreams should get us on the move. We study for our own better future. The education empowers on economically. We should be known by our name in this world. The teen years are not to think about others. It’s the age to think about ‘me,’ said Dharwad-based life skills trainer Captain Anand.

 

Captain Anand was the resource persons during Inspiration Camp that was organized for Class X students by public instructions department in association with Udupi zonal office of block education officer and Rotary Club – Shirva, at St Mary’s College, Shirva, near here, on Tuesday, December 12.

 

 

He further said, ‘Parents and teachers have concern about you. You got to respect them. One is not unfit or stupid while committing mistake.  Don’t ever have inferiority complex,’ said Captain Anand. You got to have control over negative thoughts to master the art of positive thinking that will boost will power. One can achieve set goal by developing sense of time in your daily living, added Captain Anand.

 

St Mary’s education institutions correspondent Fr Stany Tauro in his inaugural address expressed happiness over 650 Class X students attending the Inspiration Camp.

 

Rotary India Literacy Mission district vice chairman B Pundalika Marate, St Mary’s College principal Professor Rajan V N conveyed best wishes to the students.

 

Udupi district Sarva Shikshana Abhiyan co-ordinator Chandra Nayak, education superintendent Nagaraj M, Shirva Rotary Literacy Committee speaker Michael Mathias were present at the dais.

 

Rotary Club – Shirva president Hasanabba Shaikh welcomed the gathering. The secretary Vishnumurti Saralaya proposed vote of thanks. Professor Vittal Nayak compered the programme.
