Stray dogs attack woman at Bhandaribettu; hospitalized

Bantwal, 17 Nov 2017: A woman was admitted in state-run hospital, here, on Thursday, November 16, after a pack of stray dogs bitten her at Bhandaribettu locality, near here.

 

Fifty-year-old Hemavati was bitten by the stray dogs and was admitted to the inpatient ward of state-run hospital by the locals.

 

Hemavati was going to nearby Bidi branch on Thursday evening, when she was chased by a pack of stray dogs who were found near Krishna Bhajan Mandir, Bhandaribettu, near here, attacked her.

 

The civic body castrated the stray dogs at the localities under its limits recently, but did not take action on growing menace of stray dogs, allege the locals.
