Wilson Olivera re-elected as President of Catholic Sabha

Kundapur, 3 Mar 2014: The annual general body meeting of Catholic Sabha, Our Lady of Rosary parish unit, here was held at the parish hall, on Sunday March 2.

 
The parish priest and spiritual director Fr Anil D’Souza presided the meeting.

 
Walter D’Souza read the scriptural reading from Bible, while the assistant parish priest and St Mary’s Pre-University College principal Fr Praveen Amrut Martis delivered message on the scriptural reading.

 
The elections for the office bearers were held on the occasion.

 
Wilson Olivera re-elected as president, Jacob D’Souza (vice president), Victoria D’Souza (secretary), Ida D’Souza (deputy secretary), Shanti Carvalho (treasurer0, Francis D’Souza (deputy treasurer), William D’Souza (representative of Amcho Sandesh, Catholic Sabha diocesan monthly), Johnson D’Almeida (political convener), Antony D’Almeida (government facilities advisor).

The assistant parish priest Fr Santosh Paul Pereira and St Joseph’s Convent superior Sr Vibha was present at the dais.

 
Catholic Sabha president Wilson Olivera welcomed the gathering.  The secretary Victoria D’Souza presented the annual report.  The treasurer Shanti Carvalho presented the annual accounts.  The parish council secretary Felcian conveyed the best wishes.  The parish council vice president Johnson D’Almeida conducted the election proceedings.  Alwyn Quadros and Flyon D’Souza introduced the contestants. Victoria D’Souza proposed vote of thanks.  Ida D’Silva compered the programme.
