Kundapur: Voluntary Labor clears Premises of Temple

Kundapur, 8 Dec 2013: At the joint aegis of Kalavar gram panchayat, Nav Bharat Nirmal Forum – Kalavara, auto rickshaws and goods tempo drivers and owners Association – Kalavara, and Kalavara Friends, the access road to Sasti Kalinga temple, Subramanya Circle and temple premises was cleared of garbage by voluntary labor.


 
Kalavar gram panchayat president Satish Poojary Vakwady offered motion for the voluntary labor here on Saturday morning.

 


 
The public tributes were offered to the Bharat Ratna recipient South Africa’s apartheid leader Nelson Mendela who passed away on Friday December 6, the village elders Basava Maraka, Narayan Shettigar and Shankar who passed away recently.


 
PDO H S Basavantappa, secretary Ganesh Tekkatte, Nav Nirman Forum taluk unit president B Mohanchandra Kalavar, secretary Nagaraj S V, taluk co-ordinator Ashalata, the members of Kalavara gram panchayat and Nav Nirman Forum and others were also present on the occasion.
